Gamespotting

A parody on the movie trainspotting.

Rather than heroin, it's videogames.

Much the same effect though.

This was something of a rush job for a class final. Severe limitations and I know I could have done much better.

But when you need a grade, you pass in what you can.

I maintain my innocence that it is by sheer coincidence that my video (And title, though when you think about it, it's not a hard title to come up with given the context)is similar to his, but I have no problem mentioning it because it is pretty good.

Saaay what you want of mine, I'm not looking for internet stardom. And I admit, some of the comments are quite amusing.

At any rate, enjoy.

Wow, so I don't know what's better, the fact that you ripped off the title or that you copied the music too from that other guy. Were you competing with him to make a good video? I'd hate to tell you, but it looks like you might now have made the cut on this one. He beat you by at least a year too. Really it just looks like a sad attempt to steal someone else's ideas. Great job there killer.

well to be honest. arakawa is my cousin. a while ago he told me to watch your video and bash it because of what he thought of it at first. i didnt do it right away and now i realize what happened and i apologize. i was just siding with my cousins and now doing research.

Well. I didn't copy his video. I like his video, but I hadn't seen it till well after I posted mine. But sure.

And all the music is taken from the Trainspotting soundtrack. So I guess I'm stealing more from Iggy Pop, Bedrock, and Underworld.

You caught me here. I admit this was somewhat lazily done.

But stuck with several other college classes and finals, a limit to camera time, a one man film crew, and a grand total of two weeks to film, and edit it, I thought I did a decent job.

And yes, I avoided scottish because every attempt ends up sounding like Sean Connery.

I guess this was my artistic expression of that.
