Long before December 25th was associated with the birth of Jesus Christ the Lord, winter celebrations have been observed in various ways around the world. From the Norse celebrating Yule to the ancient romans celebrating saturnalia in honor of their pagan god Saturn. The question that I am going to propose is this: Should Bible believing christians celebrate christmas? Before you answer, lets begin by looking at the history of this day and also how ancient pagan practices have been left behind for centuries.

  • All true. Pagan idol worship, Pagan festivities, successfully disguised as Christian. In the same way that the Roman Catholic Church brought their worship of statues and images into Christianity by giving them names of Jesus and the saints, they also succeeded in continuing the worship of their sun God by making December 25 the birthdate of the Son of God. It is a pity that many so-called Christians are tricked to observing this feast. Thank God, the elect cannot be deceived.

  • I have heard countless times that "the church" made xmas ok, so therefore it is. OMG..can one make a more blatant antichrist statement? This day is vile and always will be..no matter how pretty..remember, satan does not look like a red devil with horns..he is an angel of light, a GLORIOUS angel of LIGHT...and very, very deceptive..

  • historically the pilgrims of the bay colonies in colonial america did NOT have christmas, and they were kicked out of england as those very puritans because they closed the theaters and did not want christmas....if they were still around they would not have internet either.......kill joys kicked out of england, sent here and narrow minds.

  • if you wish to be well liked, hey take away people's holidays, signed, life without santa......

  • very accurate thanks.

  • thanks for the norse pictures, hey if you do not wish to celebrate x mas, join the jw's they are christians but so strict they see pagan roots to it, we never had a christmas tree........hey, mithras now there's a holiday.

  • @corgitoy1 Do some research and you will find that easter and christmass have pagan roots. The catholic church later mixed the birth and resurection of Jesus into them to attract people. The bible tells us not to mix the Holy with the profane.

  • Paganism = the true original religion. The SUN is the giver of life, not your douchebag, imaginary, jesus invention offered as the mind control centerpiece of your absurd religion. Get a clue... exposingchristianity dawtcom

  • @KJTheTruth The bible was wrote by writers inspired by god. So therefore to change the words of the bible is to corrupt the word of god. So to follow the King James bible with its altered doctrine (to fit with the personal agenda of a king) is to follow the work of satan. is it not????

  • @KJTheTruth you say that "I am a Christian who stands on the King James bible as being the word of God" and that "messed up doctrinally. I think this is the work of Satan because he is the father of lies". What about the fact that King James rewrote passage's in the bible. He was a king not a spokesman for god. His only authority was being a ruler that the church could not rebuke for fear of treason. King James was a renown self hating homosexual and altered the bible to be more homophobic

  • @mariamherrera Well actually pagans dont necessarily worship more than one god. But its worth pointing out that all the none Christian religions consider Christianity a duo theistic faith. In a true monotheistic faith, god is the sole power of the universe. In Christianity Jehovah/ Christ has no power over Satan, Satan is a separate and independent being than god.

  • I do agree with what the video says about Santa !! Christian parents should not get there children or themselves for that matter to worship Santa. But tell there children ONLY to worship JESUS ! And the idea of giving presents, on that day, whenever Christ's birth was, Is to represent us giving presents to the baby Jesus. I'm sorry, but there is nothing wrong with that. That's why Christians give presents to one another on that day. And also showing Christs love to one another too.
