  • @CncObsession would probably lead to mach e-stopping if the pc couldn't handle it.

    best to test it on an air cutting operation first to see if the pc is capable.

  • Damn Hoss, do you ever sleep? That screen looks too busy. Do you run more than 1 machine from the same PC? If so is it possible to do other things while machining, like surfing the net? I do it all the time but I am not sure it doesnt cause a glitch occasionally. Your opinion?

  • @CncObsession Just the mill running off this PC, but it's fast enough to surf while running. have a video here showing it doing both somewhere.:-)

    By any chance do you know anyone that has done this on a tormach machine? I contacted Tormach and they don't recommend putting voltage through the machine. I searched the web and can't find any info at all of anyone who has done it. The printer port does have an input pin tho.
