  • I always get a kick out of seeing Lucille Ball being so EXCELLENT at all the showbiz style (glamour, carrying off the whole showgirl thing) her Lucy Ricardo character never seemed to get quite right. She was really a stunner in color!

  • omg... the sparkling carousel with live horses... the hoop dispenser (?).... the cat women with crazy nails.... lucille ball with a WHIP!.... and all of it dripping in pink crystals and feathers... amazing - don't change a thing!

  • For anyone who is interested, here are the names of the first five "girls," on horseback in order: gorgeous Eve Whitney, Elaine Shepard (later became a war correspondent in Vietnam), Lorraine Miller (from Flint, Michigan), Natalie Draper (who appeared as an uncredited glamour girl in numerous MGM wartime musicals) and Kay Booth. Don't know who the last two before Lucille Ball are.

  • Ah! That's the Tom and Jerry theme that plays at Universal Studios.,.,I KNEW it was an MGM Fred Astaire song!!GREAT, very catchy song.,

  • Oh Lucy... I love you so much!!!

  • I'm so glad someone posted this! This is one of my favorite routines! Love the cat women!

  • Just when things couldn't get any pinker or fluffier, enter the Panther Women and their sultry red headed trainer!

  • A cotton candy colored dream! It is Robert Alton who moves those ladies so gracefully. Saw this film as a kid and dreamed of being surrounded by those cat girls and the Pink Feathered beauties who stand on horses! Thanks for posting it.

  • Lucy...in the Ziegfeld girls? Who knew?
