Drinking during the day: Is it ok?

I have to write a paper on something that interests me. So I'm coming up with excuses to drink during the day. I would love to hear other people's reasons and stories of drinking during the day.

Feel free to post video responses and comments. Any thing will help and be greatly appreciated!

here is what I got so far:
1. communion at church
2. while watching a football game
3. mimosa's with brunch
4. sunday morning bloody mary's
5. beer battered eggs (you have to finish the can of beer)
6. anytime you are in the garage.
7. the whole 6 months of day time in alaska
8. any day you can stay in your pj's until early evening you can drink
9. pre wedding shots
10. work parties
11. if you have a good reason to toast you can do it during the day
12. saturday's
13. friday afternoons
14. while Ice fishing
15. while working on a Firebird or other muscle car
16. If a good friend is only in town for a few hours during the day
17. business lunch
18. Festival concert like ozzfest or warped tour
19. fishing
20. camping
21. having a picnic
22. family reunions
23. hung over from the night before
24. homeless
25. when you have to pick your car up from the bar in the morning, the polite thing is to go in and have a drink
26. after noon it's socially acceptable
27. in mother Russia, alcohol drinks you during the day
28. it's your birthday
29. it's someone else's birthday
30. Holiday
31. Holiday in another country we are not currently at war with
32. tanning
33. before confession
34. ribbon cutting ceremony
35. found some money
36. before a first date
37. the thrill of hiding being drunk from your boss
38. on an airplane

This poses a good question. If you work at night then why couldn't you drink during the day as long as you sober up to go to work? How is that really different? ... Oh ... and i'm with you bro. Mid life crisis sent me back to college in my thrities. lol ... its great.

Day drinking requires companions. There must be another drinker present with similar goals. I think its the whole safety in numbers theory. Nobody ever really cares for a drunk but multiple ones seem to make their presence understandable.

same here, i piss constantly, and i smell like beer, im 24 years old and ive been drinkin since i was 11
