Opinion on who is the greatest bowler will always be divided depending on which nationality you are. So here a couple of simple stats to help.....
Murali 800 test wickets, 493 on home soil 61.6%
Warne 708 test wickets, 319 on home soil 45.0%
Murali 87 wickets Zimbabwe, 89 wickets Bangladesh. 22% of his wickets.
Warne 06 wickets Zimbabwe, 11 wickets Bangladesh. 02.4% of his wickets.
I can list more stats but they all point in the same direction....

In my OPINION, I think saqlain was a better spinner. He played for like a third of the time murali did but got half as many wickets. Plus he invented the doosra.
