The seventies were a successful decade for Rangers as they twice won the treble and also won their first European trophy. Rangers defeated Celtic in four major finals and as well as Tom Forsyth's centenary cup final thunderbolt there were cup winning goals from Derek Johnstone, Alex McDonald and Gordon Smith.
The finest goal scored was Davie Cooper's Drybrough Cup goal, which was voted the greatest ever by Rangers fans.
Me and the brother were at most of these games, the atmosphere aint the same 60,000 + nutters at the game,no contest.

Great clips mate, was at almost all of these. That 3-0 game at New Year was in 75 and turned the tide. It put us a point ahead, then Celtic collapsed and won only 2 of their next 9 games and we went on to stop the 10 in a row. The Derek goal in 1970...that was my first Old Firm game I'd been to at Hampden, the cross and header and ensuing bedlam is etched in my memory forever!

Brilliant video .I cant believe it was so long ago . Just seems like yesterday. Great seeing my two favourite Rangers teams, 76 and 78 sides.Especially with Cooper , Smith, Russell.
Great memories.
