A great training video explaining the technology behind the 'EcoSmart' Washer by Fisher & Paykel Appliances. Make sure to watch Part II as well!

  • So the dealer just delivered a 3ed new washing machine today. Has the same vibration :(

Next option they said is to take back the washer and dryer and put me in a different brand.

  • Well I heard from the company who sold me the unit the parts are made in Mexico. I do not believe they units are made in America AKA The USA. I will check and get back to you all on this claim that made in the USA = poor quality.

  • I have a eco smart washer model # WL42T26CW bought it on 12/15/2011 it has a bad wobble. After taking 3 days off work to meet with repair man they sent me a new replacement today, I took the day off work to have the new machine swapped out and it has the same bad wobble. Do not know how many more days I need to miss work over a washing machine but my vacation time is NOT going to good use here. In my opinion this washer should have been tested before delivery. You decide if this is a smart buy?

  • Of all their appliances, the washing machine is by far not only their best, but probably the best top loader available. I'm really surprised to see all the complaints on-line of the washers. Only thing I can think of why they're having so many problems, is because of now being made in USA. The ones I have were made in Australia and besides them just splashing a little water on cement basement floor, I have not had any problems.

  • yes; --- I have one of these machines. Mine is the BIG 8KG ""intuitive"" model

    BRILLIANT :)

thank-you so much, fisher & paykel

    I just LOVE my washer

I am, John McBride, South Australia

  • you're right but when is part 2 coming?

  • who is speaking to the microphone and how did you do a flyer like that makes me sad since i cant do it

  • Patented*

  • Actually Fisher and Pakel pantented the smart drive design, LG copied it

  • As a technician sevicing all brands I have to say this machine is 2nd to none & to date (more than 20 years) I have not seen a motor failure or tub bearing failure, Front load washer bearing failures too many to count & many in the 2nd year! the top loads simillar to F & P have metal lids & tops that start rusting from day 1. Where can I buy stock in F&P ?
