I'm sorry but this film has mercilessly captured the stillness and dryness of boredom and all things that are boring.

Don't worry, you can still re-edit this experimental piece and make it into an enjoyable film.

Oh wait. I agreed at first, but I think he might have been doing that on purpose to have the condescending tone of a doctor talking to an old man. Which gives a little reference to it being a dream. Not sure though. XD

My guess would be, that when people think of the 30's they usualy think of the US in the 30's... US was the center of the universe at that time... Today thats just another stereotype...
