I enjoyed this very much. There is nothing wrong with you at all. It is the organization. Leaving an abusive organization that threatens, dominates, and isolates you makes it so tough to leave. Good for u!

i dont know what to say really, i grew up in a JW family and it completly ruined my life, so i sure could relay some horrific experiences and consequences that impacted greatly on my life but for now im just going to say that this is a great soundtrack you have chosen Eddie Vedder rocks!

While I got a few things out of being a witness (experience with public speaking, a love for reading), it upsets me that I was held back from exploring the rich world we have before us.
I am glad to find that there are more fortunate ones like ourselves. Thankyou for your video.

Very moving. I too grew up as a Witness, but stopped attending at 17. I could not have faith without evidence, and still cannot. Now 27, I have only just begun to stop feeling the guilt, the worrying that I may be wrong and I will miss out on paradise. I have only now started searching the web for similar stories, which I should have done many years ago.

I got out of the cult, Love our Lord Jesus, and Eddie Vedder is cool too! :)

Though I've never had much contact with Jehovah's Witnesses (my family is non religious) and I've never planned to join them (hell no!) - but I support your effort to make the world saner.

I loves me some Yellow Ledbedder.

I didn't find anything wrong with your editing or production value of this video. I found it very moving in fact. Leaving can be very tough for us, thankfully none of the other members of my family have ever been witnesses, despite how I tried to teach them. I for one am very disappointed after learning the truth about the "truth". I haven't made any formal declaration, but I'm not associating, although I do miss a lot of very nice people. Thank you and be strong :)

Great Video!
Your family generations has been almost since the early beginnings of this?
I also grow up as a jw.
it is sad that these people are trapped and can not see who or what this organization really is, and how they manipulate people, just as it is in many other religious institutions such as the Mormon or Scientology ...
it's all the same evil system.

No, my grandmother became a JW in the early 60's, after she met my grandfather, who had also just become a JW.
It's hard to totally wish they hadn't become dubs, though, because I wouldn't be alive -- my grandma was planning on becoming a nun, and my grandpa was planning on becoming a country singer, so I doubt they would have met and procreated at any point :P
