  • Zach, I sprained my wrist falling back with 150kg in the bottom of the clean similar to how you fell back. I did not break anything, however the doctor diagnosed me with predynamic scapholunate instability and TFCC sprain. I injured it on 10/29/11 I was put in a cast on 12/14/11 and finally got it of on 02/01/12. It has been the most frustrating injury of my life. I can perform all daily activities with out a problem but I cannot clean the bar. Do you have any advice for rehabilitation?

  • @SweetDude1010 I'm sorry to hear that. I know that wrists are very difficult to understand, so I would make sure you saw a specialist. I had a friend receive a misdiagnosis on this type of injury, he was put in a cast but it never got better. He saw a specialist and it turned out he had an injury similar to mine, but it was too late, the bone was necrotic and had to be removed. Wrist pain can take a long to go away. I dont have much rehab advice. I still have pain, but it is getting better,

  • Hi Zach, I'm an olympic lifter at Armstrong and my mom is friends with your brother and his wife. I'm a huge fan of yours and your recovery is very motivational! Will you be competing in the olympics?

  • @iKrackeD I hope to lift in the olympics, I wont know until May. Only one athlete will be able to go. How many athletes are lifting at armstrong?

  • @killyou45 These are the same doctors that tell us squats will blow out spines. Also the same doctors that tell many people with injuries they will never be able to do anything again. I personally know a guy who broke his back and is now squatting just shy of 800lbs raw. He did this at a national PL event. Wasn't God that did it, it was him, and the doctors told him he would never walk.

  • @FUZZYisBIG Also god broke his wrists
