What kills me, is people bashing Ed for being Christian, I am a believer of christ teaching but I dont believe in these so called organized religions. I am not a church goer but I do believe in Jesus so i am christian. Yes most christians are judgemental, fake and try to be perfect but jesus understood that.
Dont judge someone for their faith or belief, I am not fake or judgmental so dont be either, that is what divides as a whole

@llouldeng Yeah not everyone can grow a brain. People crave spirituality just like they crave entertainment and other forms of imaginary distraction from the cold stab of life.
-
@llouldeng They damn well should be, but whatever.

All I can see from what I have read so far is--in my humble opinion-- nobody can get who Jesus really is . Even many who consider themselves christians can't pin it down - and that is the saddest part of all!!
I hope This guy Ed becomes an imitator of Christ by the book, unlike so many who state being born again and all they got was a dip under the 3 titles in a freezing pool and no holy spirit fire.
Acts 2:38 all the way!! All the others can do as they so well please. Enough said.

It is apparent even here that he is a self-denying slave of the false doctrine that has claimed so many other good souls.

I'm happy for Ed, as a person, that he found fulfillment back in Christianity. That being said, he made much better music as an angry young man. =)

Those huge old CD boxes were so funny. Ed's weird little high school mustache makes me smile. He sounded a bit constipated also. That aside, good old video.
-
@trenken people grow, friendships change, bands break up...its better to accept things and move on... like they have.
-
wow, Ed had long hair and cd's came in boxes. thanks for the classic vid anyway.

why should what anyone else chooses to believe or not believe hurt anyone else? Are you that insecure in your own beliefs/disbeliefs? This is the very foundation of intolerance. Oh, and I don't care what Krisnamurti said. He's just another man who lived, not an authority on all lives in all times. You cite him as if he was the religious authority, which contradicts your own argument. Shame on all this nonsense over another man's choice of religious sentiments.
A shame that he is a Christian now?!!!! Are you for real? WOW is all i can say to you.

@vingable Yep, I do think it is a shame, as religion only divides people. Krishnamurti talks about this a lot.

Ed Kowalczyk's a Christian now. : / Apparently, he grew up on it, ditched it, went on some spiritual journey all throughout his career in Live, and has come back full circle. I'm not making this up. Google it. "Ed Kowalczyk religion.blogs" ...Came as quite a shock to me.

@Nakedprey Yep, it's a shame. He even changes the lyrics to this song when performing it live nowadays.
vodkaa1 1 year ago
@vodkaa1 He was changing it up in 1992 also, what does he sing now? He would intermittently substitute Buddha for Jesus back then.
dobyblue 1 year ago
@dobyblue he sings something along the lines of "but what a man was two thousand years ago, means a hell of a lot more to me today" nowadays. He started doing it around 2001, or so.
