I agree. I was thinking the exact same thing before I read your comments. I just listened to the original by Earth, Wind & Fire from their "I AM" recording and it is much slower.

You guys should listen to Troy University Sound of the South's version. Not sure if there are any videos of it online as of now.

there is no "correct" tempo. a band arrangement is not typically taken as fast as the original song just for clarity sake.. which it struggles with here
