http://www.taijiworld.com Yang Lu-ch'an's "Root" Methods Volume Two
Yang Lu-ch'an invented a brief fighting solo form for each of the main self defence postures in his Old Form. These are called "Root" forms. Every posture has many fighting applications so to make it easier to take the great fighting and healing benefits from the postures, Lu-ch'an gives us a form to practice. These forms teach us about fa-jing, dim-mak and how internalize the postures thus making the maximum use of one's body for healing and self defence. This 2nd volume takes you from the posture called "Spear To Rear and Double Dragon Hands" up to and including "Shoulder Press". Each form takes its name from the main posture from which is comes.
You are probably talkng about the small shake at the end of each movement. And when there IS a fa-jing explosion that is when you would do it yes.

what i ment is, i do the form as if it is one large fa-jing movement without the explosiveness until at the end of the move, so in effect i would do a particular move as soft fa-jing and reload again to get the explosive fa-jing effect at the end of the movement, hence doing it twice, look accurate in the mirror, just wondered if its correct.

Um, I don't think so? There should be a rising then an empty then the explosive movement in fa-jing, you don't have to do the movement twice? Maybe I am reading it wrong.

A question about tai chi erle, am i doing the form right because when i do it i do the fajing as a slow movement so that i have something to do in the empty movement and then the fajing eplosively, so its like doing the movement twice is that correct?
thanks

That is correct! I am really glad that YOU do not think that it is taiji! Because it is Taijiquan! In other words it is REAL Taijiquan! t is a REAL self defence system and healing system not some dance or set of stupid slow movements!
