Late on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 the Susquehanna River overflowed its banks in the Southern Tier of New York state. This video shows some of its results above Route 17 (Future Interstate 86) in Apalachin, NY. This is the morning of Thursday, September 8, 2011 at around 7:30 AM. I was trying to get to work in Owego and was not able to proceed due to the flooding.
