Athens Georgia - Some R.E.M. Sights

The Athens leg of our tour down the east coast of the USA. Needless to say we're big R.E.M. fans. Happy memories of a couple of sun drenched lazy days sat outside cafes drinking coffe and enjoying more than a few happy hour dollar a beer buds. I may upload a fuller vesion if I get time ( more )

Nice video,thats for sharing. It is worth noting for any diehards going to Athens that the locals leave the guys alone and treat them like anyother local, I guess thats why they call it home.

Growing up in Athens Georgia I'm a little annoyed. My city is so much more than R.E.M. , Widespread Panic, or the B52's. We here in Athens resent people like you who act like Athens Georgia =R.E.M.

And who in the hell is singing the song you have playing over the images of my city? are they even an Athens band???! For the record michael stipe is a douche who act's like he's a god around here.

There are unknown local bands playing here every night that are 10 times better than R.E.M.
