Holy Diver - Stage 6 (Famicom)

I'm gonna play through Holy Diver, a fun but hard Famicom game. I will NOT use save states, so this way, if you ever need help in the game, maybe my videos can help.

Stage 6 is very hard as you may expect for the last stage! I died on purpose near the end to regain my magic. I know I could have tried to past without magic, or go one screen up, destroy the blocks to collect items to regain my magic and life little by little, but I was running out of time for the 10 minutes limit allowed on Youtube, so killing myself was probably the better option.

I also died on purpose at the last boss to regain my magic (I have cut the fight were I died because of the time limit too).

I had to cut the ending credits because of the time limit too.

Oh yeah, and also, at the end (at the very last boss), the game became very glitchy because of the emulator.

Are you doing something special to make that third extremely high jump in the room before the last guy?? I cant make that damn jump! So close.....and i died not being able to make a jump because it was simply to high.....

Amazing. I honestly believed it couldn't be done and still wouldn't if I hadn't seen this. You, my friend, are a better gamer than I, though I must admit, I'm now considering playing through it again in hopes of doing the same as you. Congratulations on such an epic victory.

And before anyone says anything, the boss DOES glitch out like that sometimes, depending on the emulator.

@arseniy I think Top Gun The Second Mission was harder, but I agree with you. Way harder than the Castlevania games.

I could get only to 4 level in the game. Then later I found it and tried to play on emulator with save states. That game is probably hardest NES game o_O

Wow, the bosses are kinda like the ones in Metroid. Nonetheless, an awesome game based on an awesome song.

When I get to the top of the spinal cord room, the door b4 the boss won't allow me to go in. How the hell do i get in?

Do you have to kill everything with magic? Because i did run out, but it seemed he was dying. But then he didnt.

You won't believe this....i got to the last guy with 4 lives left......died once....started whipping his ass the next time......killed all of his arms and stuff and then he just stopped attacking....and there was nothing left for me to shoot or kill...i think the game messed up, ,but i could still move and shoot, any ideas?
