I picked it up for $300 before tax and have to say it's great value for money. Everything you need in a portable computer.

hi, I am plannig to buy this one, but could you please tell me how does it operate when you plug in 22" lcd screen and start divx video from it...

@teoswand it has a gpu built into the cpu. So you're sharing power, it can play videos. But if you want to do 720 or 1080p videos, forget about it. ASUS has their new netbooks with the nvidia ion dedicated video that should work much better when hooking it into a larger screen and/or playing HD video.

@GPaulDiddy Yes, but the screen is quite small. Unless you're concerned with size then I'd recommend paying a few extra dollars and getting a laptop with a bigger screen.

hows is the performance, reliability and webcam clarity?

@GPaulDiddy Performance is mediocre, it's reliable although in Ubuntu it will occasionally think the battery is dead and hibernate as well as randomly disconnect from wifi networks. The webcam is fine, pretty normal for a laptop, neither incredible or terrible.

i have this one now but i made mods to it...solid state hard drive it comes wiht a h.d.d and its so sensitive... i broke 3 h.d.ds over all...every thing but the h.d.d its a perfect net book

@seth556 Check out the Broadcom Crystal HD card. It goes in the empty pcie slot and allows smooth playback of 720/1080 on an atom powered netbook. The videos I've seen show 20-40% cpu use while playing HD content with the card installed. It's also supposed to be supported in flash which should make streaming sites like hulu play much smoother. I ordered a 532h last night and am getting ready to order the broadcom card now.
