Those are theories, does that mean gravity, evolution and germs are a theory? No, scientific theories are sets of explanations that explain fact.

Most eveything that we take for granted in life; in science is termed a theory. Gravity.. anyone doubt it exists? We can measure it, yet we still cannot fully explain it. Evolution actually has a lot of data to back it up, can be measured and explained but will never be allowed to be called a law because of peoples rigid thinking. Can't evolution be the answer the how and not the why? Many Christians teach evolution in colleges.

An axiom of science - you ask ask questions about what is observed, you postulate a theory, you experiment, if the experiment does not answer the question, you ask different questions, this leads to new theories.........
