Marvel bought the movie rights back from Lionsgate so there should be a new film in a few years. Hopefully with a bigger budget. Although I'm not sure if this means we will be getting yet another reboot or not. Ray Stevenson said he really want to play Big Frank again and I'm croossing my fingers that he does!

The 1989 PUNISHER movie came out in theaters worldwide... except in the USA. He wears the skull on his face makeup. Story is in the script he was supposed to spray paint it on his shirt before the final showdown but the filmmakers thought at the time it would be better without to be taken seriously as a gritty film with realism. That said this is the best movie adaptation out of the three and it's finally getting recognition and cult status.
