  • I have a question about heel-toe... How is it done? Is it the brake-clutch-throttle and downshift or brake-throttle-clutchand downshift?

  • Hello. There is no heel-toe. On the track u don't need it. If you drive a rally car u do, especially on dirt more than on tarmac.

  • So, YOU are the driver? If you are, then what did they use in the video?

  • Sure I am! If you mean carwise, it's a Carrera 997 S.

  • Heal and toe should be used all the time, it's left foot braking that isn't a necessity. Personally I could never downshift without blipping the throttle otherwise it makes your driving feel very ragged and amateurish.

  • @bermuge the real way to do it and hold clutch in and put the stick in a lower gear at the same time as braking with your toe and hitting the gas with your heel to match the revs. u dont relly need it unless u need to come to a dead stop in less than like 2-3 seconds hahahaha

  • you don't need heel toe.. the most important thing is to blip the throttle with the gear in neutral and the clutch NOT pushed down, so the speed of the transmission gets blipped, not the just the engine..

  • nope. you need to clutch, put gear in neutral, release clutch, throttle, clutch, downshift, release clutch. that's what you gotta do to stop your rear sliding and enjoy your clutch for as long as you can =D

  • I was under the impression it was good to heel toe on a track in order to stop the rear end getting unsettled under breaking and or avoiding compression lock up?

  • You are just blipping the throttle on down shifts to matching engine speed with transmission speed. I think it is good practice. And it is very easy once you get it right.

  • hey, nice smooth driving. id like to see you push, get that porsche moving around. so u didnt heel and toe hey? cool.

i think the best tip to learn is to get out there and practice, even on the road, but depending on the pedal setup, you might have to go to a track. im trying to master it at the moment, but im 17 so its hard to get a car and go to a track.

  • I was also there! Same course, same dates...

    Simply amazing!
