Heard a lot of great things about invisalign but I can't afford it. I had my dentist bond my teeth w/o letting the bonding harden just to see what I would look like w/o the gap and I didn't like it, I look like a beaver/parihna, with 2 big teeth in the front and little teeth surrounding. Michael Strahan; NFL, & TD Jakes have sizeable gaps. Did you know your teeth effect your speech. There are words I stay away fm like fuel comes out fruel. Don't be ashame of U. We're all made to be dif.

@devotioncmt right. exactly. i wouldn't even mind having a gap so much if people weren't so mean about it. i would be okay. but it's just that i know what people think when they look at me is what hurts. but i'm just hoping i get over that insecurity & everyone else can grow up a little & realize NO ONE is perfect, not even them.

@MissAmberMonique, back in my younger years people would tease me and call me names like snagatooth, but now that I'm older I've learned some people will always be looking for imperfections about you. 1 will be lucky to have natural teeth in their 60's & 70's. I still have baby teeth at 47.

Hey people..

I'm from Denmark and we have free dental care for kids younger than 18. I still chose not to get my gap fixed cus I really do like it, and I find it to be attractive on other people as well.

I have full sympathy for folks who dont like the look of it, and would prefer to have it fixed if they had the money, but dont forget that there are people who look at that same gap and think youre beatiful, just for having it.
