Brilliant set of moves, but I wouldnt call it a new tactic. Its nothing more than an extrapolation than the queen taking the poisoned pawn, no?

Chess is a fantastic game. When seeing things like mass distraction in action chess really feels like a real war game with real tactics and strategy. Brilliant.

this seems great, but after h5 there must be a way to defend if white saw the mate threat. and then waht? i am just an average player, enjoyed the video very much, and the idea is brilliant, but i would have been curious to see what defensive move could have been played isntead of the blunder Qa1, to see how sound it was.

I have added the FEN string to the description of the video. This will allow people to engine check the combination. I am not sure if it is sound myself, but it just worked in OTB against an IM.

Yes you seem to be right. But as an OTB tactical idea where people have limited time, are emotional and can't calculate that well, it still is a viable concept to try and make use of. It seems Nd5 carries with it the implicaiton of Nf4 if Qe2, thus quickly ejecting the Black queen.
