In 2000 RG Active Bike Fix's boss Szymon Wasiak represented his country of Poland in the UCI World Championship Junior Road Race in France.
The road race was competed over a 9 lap course of just under 130km.
Szymon finished the race 9th overall in this race and until now we have struggled finding video footage of his race and with the lack of Facebook and Twitter it has been a long time coming making his accomplishments known to our companies very loyal and faithful client base who know Szymon as a bike mechanic but are unaware of how good he was a rider!
The video is an edited version of the full EuroSport coverage, and the coverage commentary is in Polish, but please enjoy the footage and keep your eyes peeled for Szymon.
Szymon spotting: He is wearing the Poland national jersey (red and white) a blue helmet with a white cap underneath. He is more often in the front 1--15 riders and very central within the pack. (A sign of a very confident rider).
