MORE GENEVA MOTOR SHOW @ INSIDELINE.COM:
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/autoshows/geneva/2009/2010volvos80refreshed...

The 2010 Volvo S80 gets its official unveiling at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. Look for a barely refreshed sedan, despite the fact that Volvo said it took pains to give the car a "tougher face."

The 2010 S80 is due to reach U.S. showrooms in the third quarter, according to Dan Johnston, the Swedish automaker's U.S. spokesman. "We will not have pricing until the third quarter," he said in response to an e-mail query by Inside Line. "Guess — same as today's S80, but that is a guess."

The 2009 Volvo S80 3.2 starts at $40,425, including an $825 destination charge.

Volvo said that, in the U.S. market, the S80 will continue to be offered with the 3.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine, the turbocharged T6 3.0-liter inline-6 and the 4.4-liter V8.

The redesigned S80 gets a lower, longer and wider stance, said the automaker. The cabin is said to be "more driver-oriented" with a new steering wheel and upgraded instruments.

    they are really conservatives :S

  • thanks for the heads up

  • Had a Volvo a few years back, it's a fairly nice ride.

  • You are both wrong...This is Volvo's own platform. Ford is using the last generation platform for the Taurus, Flex, Lincoln MKT, and MKS
