How do you do this in Ubuntu 11.10?

It didn't explain what the changes do, i.e., what happens if you change sensitivity? What happens if you change Drag & Drop? He pretty much just read what is in the Mouse Preferences box in 42 seconds. A decent explanation should have taken a couple of minutes, showing the differences in each of the settings.

In Ubuntu 9.04 does your mouse work at an acceptable speed?
My Genius XSCROLL USB 800dpi is too fast to be usable.
I can decrease "Acceleration" but the "Sensitivity" does not work at all.
In Ubuntu 8.10 the mouse works great.
So, at this moment I can't use Ubuntu 9.04 because of the mouse :( .
