  • In Ubuntu 9.04 does your mouse work at an acceptable speed?

My Genius XSCROLL USB 800dpi is too fast to be usable.

I can decrease "Acceleration" but the "Sensitivity" does not work at all.

In Ubuntu 8.10 the mouse works great.

So, at this moment I can't use Ubuntu 9.04 because of the mouse :( .

  • I sent you a message to try to help you.

  • How do you do this in Ubuntu 11.10?

  • It didn't explain what the changes do, i.e., what happens if you change sensitivity? What happens if you change Drag & Drop? He pretty much just read what is in the Mouse Preferences box in 42 seconds. A decent explanation should have taken a couple of minutes, showing the differences in each of the settings.

  • can you help me too? thx
