I think a game about a guy running around with a sword slicing everything in sight is a HORRIBLE replacement for Snake!

@SwampLord9 It does not! DMC seems to have a lot more insane and bad-ass combos. Ninja Theory should've been chosen to work on MGS:Rising. It's in their studio's name anyway: Ninja. What better studio to make a ninja action stealth game than them? Using the Fox Engine would've been better too. I hope Kojima didn't make a mistake chosing Platinum Games.

@FullyNimble Well, it IS a completely new series. Snake's story is over. Big Boss' isn't yet. But Snake finished his story with a nuclear explosion that made the earth tremble in awesomeness.

As much as I hate to say it
Snake time is done it's raidens turn now so stop mourning over between naked and solid snake there has been roughly 7-8 games,metal gear,metal gear solid snake,metal gear solid twin snakes,metal gear solid sons of liberty,metal gear solid snake eater,metal gear solid 4 sons if patriots,portable ops,portable ops plus,acid,ghost babel,peace walker. And never mind sons of liberty cuz you play as raiden and now think of all the Japanese versions ok

Wait, you say Raiden is back as if he was the original. He was never the original. He was snakes little whiny understudy that just recently became badass. No one will replace snake. This is a completely new series in my opinion.
