  • This sounds almost exactly like my Grandfather and Great-Uncle who were both from Sleaford so this accent is more widespread than you'd think!

  • a lot of the pronunciations remind me quite a bit of Southern US accents

  • Lincoln Fen is next to Lincoln isn't it, by the Witham? Well i assume it is, even though i have never heard of it despite living only a few miles from lincoln. Washingborough Fen is the nearest 'fen' to Lincoln along the Witham. :)

  • Lincolnshire Fen isn't the whole of Lincolnshire - just the southern bit, South Holland and so on, south of Spalding. Not Lincoln and the central/northern bits of the county.

  • This is the olden accent.

  • It sounds very much like old english in tone

  • do all lincolns sound drunk?

  • man i hope i dont talk like this!!!

  • The soft wench!
