@paintballor yes, you're right. The cave has been closed a long time now due to contamination brought in by visitors' footwear, clothing and breath, but Lascaux II was created for visitors, which is next to the cave. It took one artist six years to re-create the art using authentic techniques...and we're hoping to visit in a couple of weeks : )
