Awesome car mate looks very fast my favourite part was at 1:56 it just takes off like a jet can't wait till I put my caldina gtt on 18 psi it should be ok coz I got a mines ecu and a cold air intake on my car and for the 5 people that disliked this videos go to hell you obviously have no taste in cars to dislike this vid probably evo tossers that get beaten by gt fours lol hahaha

@Banjo261 cool well that fensport is what inspired me as it was the same machine. Yup deep pockets Im using a company called AFR PERFORMANCE who are really good. My first stage is to get the engine in running good to 300bhp once thats done get all the extras to get it to 600bhp. Even though 300bhp in a celica should be pretty good at least it'l be better then a chavy vauxhaul corsa all pimped up I saw about 10 minutes ago on the way home from work

@jamesthq Yea mate as with all turbo cars you should let them warm up properly and if your givin it beans always drive slowly for a few minutes before switching off if you dont have a turbo-timer, even then i'd still drive to get the cool air in. Fensport did the same (VVti with st205 running gear and engine) it was some machine! 600BHP in a 3SGTE, that will fly hope you have deep pockets! ;)

@Banjo261 question I have a celica vvti which Im swapping the 1.8 engine with the gt4 turbo engine. Do you need to warm the turbo up before use with these cars? Im sure the guys at the tuning shop will tell me but Im essentially using the vvti shell with the GT4 engine and 4WD drive system and Im having the engine rebuilt to be 600bhp

All GT-FOUR's are ST205's, the non turbo models were ST202's.
The plastic wing stumps with GT-FOUR on them were a factory option when new but were standard on the homologation 'WRC' models. If your bro also has a small lip spoiler in front of his windshield then its a WRC, its also has anti-lag but it came dissconnected from the factory.
I ran a ST205 WRC a couple years back, great car, quick and stuck to the road like a limpet!
Not a patch on the Integra R i had before it though.......

love the bov sound..engine sounds sweet and turbo spools up realy well..ive bought a jdm rc celica carlos sainz jap model not uk spec 235hp standard 55k absolutely a gold mine mint..has the following mods strait thru 3inch hks exaust sytem cat back..hks filter..blitz dd bov..stage one clutch..for standard boost pulls extremly well..ive bought a profec b boost controller and waiting for the 3inch downpipe..wot hp do you reckon it should be once raised the boost to 17 psi and decat estimate??

sounds exactly like my brothers, he got dump valves in her bout 2 weeks ago, when ya hear the "ssiiiIIIISSSSSS !!" going in a gear, not changing, is that the turbo?, I know what dump valves sound like, also another thing, when a GT4 has "GT FOUR" written on its rear spoiler, does that mean anything?, and how do you tell the difference between a "gt4" and a "GT4 ST205"??, or is there a difference?

I have zero problems with my gen2 and a atmospheric BOV. Mine's an RC engine tho.

Water/Meth injection set to come on above 10PSI or so would give you the security you need on a stock ST-205. Since he was asking about ST-185 it depends on IC setup - if it's the standard interheater setup he'll need more protection. FMIC or the RC/CS W2A setup will be good to go at those PSI ranges with WI.
mine is at 16psi, the stock ecu will only allow 17psi before it hits fuel cut, but the engine itself with the correct supporting turbo and cooling mods will ok to about 23-24psi, main factor is heat, if you can sufficently cool the inlet charge and supply the fuel with a good ecu, the 24 psi wont be an issue, main weak point in the engine is the stock pistons.

Did you have any problems with the car stalling once you installed the BOV.
Im curious because im puting a gen3 3sgte in my st162 and i didnt know if its better or not to put a BOV.
Your car sounds great!

the gen3 engine uses a MAP sensor rather than AFM, so you can pretty much use any BOV you like, ive never had a problem in over 2 years having the Blitz BOV, it the earlier 165/185 engines that use the AFM system, fitting a anything other than a twin piston(ie bailey DV26, HKS SSQV) will cause issues.
