  • @ItalianRacer7, Oedipus is the son of Lauis and Jocasta, and wife of Jocasta, ruling house of thebes. he kills his father accidentally and marries his mother

  • I agree there denial is at play. I believe the play is about the realm between knowing and not knowing and how we deal with unwanted knowledge in a moment of crisis.
