Scheveningen is part of The Hague, Netherlands. It is a modern seaside resort with a long sandy beach, an esplanade, a pier, and a lighthouse.
A nudist section is 1 km to the north.
The harbor is used both for fishing and tourism.
The long sandy beach is also popular for watersports like windsurfing and kiteboarding

I was there today. But I couldn't bear the cold sea water. Maybe it is because I am used to the warm Mediterranean sea water.

I have been here , all i can say is that it was stunning.one of the top places in my list ... recommended if ur 16-28 years old as there are so many pubs/bars and parties

Ben blij dat de boulevaard op de schop is genomen, want dat multicultureel wat je daar toch altijd in de zomer ziet...
Allemaal zoekt het ruzie, ik woon in Scheveningen ... zodra ik op de boulevard ben, lijkt het alsof ik in Mekka ben

Volledig mee eens! De boulevard is qua architecteur een samenraapsel van gebouwen zonder enige visie. Dat is gemeentepolitiek. Alleen het Kurhaus symboliseert hoe het oude karakteristieke Scheveningen ooit was met zijn unieke haven.
