the only person who can save anyone is themselves, if something crazy happens people will most likely sit and wait around to die , thinking that some mysterious entity ,government or person is going to come save them. look what happpened in hurricane katrina.. it is our responsiblity to save ourselves not anyone elses.

The depression was deflationary and our currency was tied to the gold standard then. Now the opposite is true. This is why they wont do the same thing and confiscate. They needed a way to print more money (hence being tied to gold) so they needed the confiscation to acquire more gold. Now, they just turn on the printing press via helicopter Ben. Gold/silver is a MUST HAVE... behind food/water/guns/Jesus.

@kenandjasha Absolutely right. I 100% agree that we need to prepare with food and supplies, but not buying Gold and Silver (coins, that's key) is simply foolhardy. God gave us common sense, so we should use it. Right?

i keep trying to tell people about the gold stealing with fdr... besides that, if all hell breaks loose, alot of gold in your possession is going to put your life in danger from thieves... best to trust god to provide your needs through times to come.. and that doesnt mean sitting on your .. butt.. it means letting god lead you to what you need
