My sympathies go to the victims and their families, However, in this modern society there is no place for the death penalty, we should be looking at rehabilitation based sentences for most criminals or life with out parole for societys worst criminals, what the system is doing to Charles Dean Hood and the other HUMAN BEINGS on death row equates to torture. DEATH PENALTY HAS NO PLACE IN THE MODERN WORLD.

@mamz909 It should be. It's not my fault you haven't made an effort to read the numerous court opinions and briefs. Seriously, you should not brag about your ignorance. He was granted reprieves because his attys filed last minute appeals. They do this on purpose. All his appeals were reviewed and found wanting. There is no uncertainty as to his guilt or who is really the fucking moron here, i.e. YOU.

As harsh as it may sound! and with sincere sympathy for the victims! this is exactly why the death penalty should be abolished! How can a civilised nations do this? also the amount of stays surely indicates that there just isnt that finite degree of certainty that they need to justify this punishment! Do the right thing and abolished the death penalty! an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind!
