  • Pink Floyd didn't come up with the hammers, Waters got the design from Gerald Scarfe, the guy that did the art for the Wall movie. Roger told him to come up with the most unforgiving thing he could. Also, looks like swastikas for a Pink's crazy Hitler hallucinations.

  • @swanski100 Cool! Thanks for the insight.

  • this definitely not the album version of empty spaces.. what is this then?

  • @thatguy1098 This version is from the movie "The Wall"

  • im pretty sure its actually because of soviet russia, pink floyd were communists.

  • @LuKeYoWnS OH yeah. I agree. The symbol is without a doubt a throwback to mid 1940s Communist / Nazi imagery. But where-as the sicle & hammer and swastika has writen historical meaning, the Water's Hammers take on that image to conjure up emotional and psycological reactions. These reactions are personal interripations of what 'Hammers' us in our lives. Friends, family, school, war, work & bosses...

This is just simply what I see they represent.

What do you feel they represent?

  • people dont realise the power of influence that external sources have over us, or those around us, Storm does all their art work so he is the programmed one.!

Roger is a genius and serves the agenda in some way because he is an atheist,i dont believe he serves the agenda willingly because he stands for and speaks out against the NWO & anyone who reads their lyrics and listens properly and knows what his work is about, will know that. Dave is the sweetest guy u will ever meet.

  • The song is called "What Shall We Do Now" and was used in the movie instead of the the album version called "Empty Spaces"

  • it symbolize one of the many bricks (problems) within the "wall" That pink had created.. The Hammers had represented his new found rascism.. Close to the Swastika.

  • @LuKeYoWnS you're stupid XD Pink Floyd? communists? I hope that was a joke.

  • Hammers that Built the Wall...

Hammers that Thorn the Wall down...

Hammers that Smash people's Skull in...

    FEAR BUILDS WALLS

  • i thought they were just for hammering nails into the wall
