Did you have to do anything other than just putting in the tubes? Speaker and Tubes the only mods?

Hello,
I just got mine in the mail, and am just getting familiar with it. Could you tell me how you change the 12AX7 tube? I can see the 6V6, but the 12AX7 is housed in a metal tube.
