I have a Question ok I know hasbro is the Company who makes the Transformer Figures So Iam confused is Hasbro An American Company like Who makes are Transformers are they Made in the USA like do Americans Design are Transformer figures and that other Company in Asia called Takatomy does hasbro sell them are Figures so they can have there own figures? how does this work -brain explodes-

@drakozero8 haha takara/tomy and hasbro are partner companies basically. Figures are designed by Takara/Tomy and sold overseas, usually with different looks or paint applications. More often than not, they're more accurate looking. Those same figures are then slightly repainted or retooled and then sold to Hasbro to be sold over here in the United States....hope that makes some sense

@optibotimus that sort of makes seance and doesnt like you said that takara/tomy makes/Designs the figures and sells them to hasbro so they can sell them but theTransformers Animated Cartoon is an American Cartoon so how can the toys be Japanese like wouldn't hasbro be incharge of Designing those American Figures

so like if iam wrong your telling be that the Japaneses make both American toys and Japanese toys And that also Hasbros not really a toy creating company but a transfer toys company

@drakozero8 Transformers is primarily owned by Takara/Tomy. They're partnered up with Hasbro if i'm not mistaken. But yeah basically...hasbro just distributes them here.

@optibotimus Other way around. Hasbro owns Transformers. The first two years of G1 toys were designed by Takara (for Diaclone primarily, which you most likely already know), Hasbro based Transformers off that. Designing after that point is done by Hasbro, however they send the designs over to Takara, who create a second design in order to actually make them executable in toy form.

@OverFuryAndTheFire the Revenge Of The Fallen version is a repaint. the extra add-ons he reviewed in this video is the add-on set from FansProject ( a third party company which makes very good toys such as Thundershred, Backfiery or Stormbomb ( the not-insecticons )
