The Chase (ITV1) - The Final Chase - Episode 10: Series 2 (4/6/10)

The endgame segment from the ITV1 gameshow 'The Chase'.

In the final round, called The Final Chase, where the remaining players must answer as many questions as possible in 2 minutes to gain as many spaces as possible.

To start with, they are given 1 space per remaining member of the team (for example, if there are 2 players remaining, they are given 2 spaces). After the 2 minutes are up, The Chaser is brought in and is told how many spaces the players collected. The Chaser is given a further 2 minutes of quick-fire questions to attempt to catch the team. If The Chaser gets any question wrong, the clock is stopped and the question is thrown over to the players. If they get the answer correct, The Chaser is pushed back 1 step and the clock is resumed.

If The Chaser succeeds in catching the team, they win nothing, but if The Chaser is not able to catch the team, the prize pot is split equally between the remaining team players.
