I kinda find it annoying only at certain times. I wouldnt care if a freind or someone else uses text messaging the whole day when im not around but when we're supposed to be hanging out, It irritates me that I have this "zombie" walking next to me with his/her head down all day long focused on this text messaging and barely making conversation. Its weird and makes me say, "why did you want to hang out with me today?"

no dout about it i have a cell phones addiction i use my iphone every minute of the i bring my charger to school and try to charge it

Stats show that 25% people smoke less then 40 years ago but now there's cellphones. It's like a gambling addiction. A friend came over my house (that I haven't seen in a year) got on his cellphone 4 times in 1 hour. Couldn't hardly get a conversation in to catch up on things. It's like being put on hold. Don't get me wrong, cells are nice to have it's just the overuse of them.

7000 text messages a month thats nothing I get that in a week but I dont view them all or answer them back like that either most of them are notification I got going to email from my social sites but yeah I can see how one can get addicted but I'm not at your cousins levelof addicition yet and pray I'll never be.

@nrobnas43 some people need a phone... wireless radiation is very little and extremely small when you are texting. and fyi, just because someone has a cell phone, does not mean that they are on it 24/7. If your friend wanted to say hi to you while you were apart, they can send a text or place a call. Now tell me what is wrong about that.
