  • I remember that show. Remember it well...

  • I remember this one, I remember camping at stone mountain that year, thanks for the post

  • dude i was at this show thanks for posting it

  • Yes there was a good Scarlet/Fire this night, also the night of the last Dark Star.

  • A real deahead would know when Jerry was off or on. It was so obvious he struggled the last couple years with his addictions. He still had great moments, but did not carry the band like in years past. I accept the reality of it all. I enjoyed every show I went to! But to say he was at his best here is just plain and simply not the truth.

  • @cbeasle2 how could you ever talk down on jerry and still consider yourself a head?

  • Agree wholeheartedly with cwragg. Jerry's playing is stellar on this.

  • Vince carried Jerry? You clearly have absolutely no idea what you are talking about relative to the band. Vince- although a great guy i am sure- could not carry Jerry's anything. Garcia ran that band and one more band which was absolute heaven on earth called The Jerry Garcia Band. God Bless Your Soul Jerry- I got your back. How could anybody ever say that Vince carried Jerry? Could not possibly be more wrong ever.....

  • Actually Vince carried most of jerry's solos in the end. Jerry was very lost that night. He had no solo and was not in the groove. It's all thee to see. Love the shows I went to, but looking back you can see Jerry's struggles. The rest of the band jammed and was waiting for Jerry to take the moment like he did so many times before. He failed to take that moment most of the time the dead played in the last few years he was around. Still love his magic and the places he took me! Peace

  • don't hate, it's all good, you bunch of losers
