Soo, I just thought I'd upload this video together with some tips on how to get the most out of the DTG servers. I guess I'll list as many things I can come up with here.

Nesquicks list of tips and tricks for DTG Minsta+Hook:

1. Do NOT EVER join in when 2 people are playing 1on1 without permission, even on a public server without restrictions. If they don't answer when you ask, assume they are to busy to answer you and either spectate or leave.

2. As I demonstrated soooo many times in the video, watch your step! Even if the respawn is fast as hell you do better to avoid suicides.

3. It is very practical to use the secondary fire to move flags, it will even work through thin floors (watch video).

4. When you see a really good player on the server, spectate! You will learn a lot of things from spectating players better or as good as yourself.

5. When facing an opponent 1on1, a good way to make him miss is crouching. When you crouch, it changes your walk speed and makes you a smaller target. Also if you jump+crouch it will make you do a back flip.

6. If you are playing with more than 1 enemy. If you aim for someone and miss the 2-3 first shots, try switching target just for a second. This works pretty good for me cause I am kind of a "twitch" aimer.

7. Rather than aiming right on your opponent, it is often easier to aim in front of him and wait until he gets in your aim. A lot of player use this timing instead of just aiming right for the opponent, especially if he is moving sideways. If he is moving away from you, just shoot him in the back. ;)

8. When hooked to a wall or a floor, use the crouch button to prevent the hook from reeling you in. This can be very useful to steady your aim.

8. You will sometimes hear players talking about their FOV (short for Field Of View). This is a setting in game that adjust how wide your field of view is. The default is 90, you probably shouldn't go lower than that. A wider fov is more useful on close combat maps. Since you see more than a person who has a lower fov. But the best thing to do is just to experiment and use what works.

9. Personally, I use the zoom A LOT. I bet I used it on at least 60% of the kills in the video. But I also hear there are people that don't use it at all. It is really up to you. I can recommend however that if you have a "thumb button" on your mouse that's a pretty good place to but your zoom button, instead of having to press down the mouse wheel.

10. If you ever want to play a little more competitively than on the public servers. Try joining a clan and participating in funwars. It is great fun and there are a bunch of nice clans out there to join.
