does this shoulder support helps for image stabilization too or is just for your arms to rest?????

The OPTEKA is the brand to buy. It works. Plastic parts are stronger than you think. Mounting screws depth can be adjusted, so check b4 you tighten, and 2 of 3 have double adjusting knobs. Saftey strap will keep device from falling from your shoulder to allow hand-free shooting and has quick-release buckle. Storage bag is flimsy, but useful. For 30 bills it is worth it. Check amazon. End of Story
