Trouble brews at Correctional Transition Services, Inc. continues...

Minneapolis, MN. (IBNN NEWS/September 1, 2010)...At a press conference held on 44th and Logan Avenue North in front of the CTSI offices, executive director Paul Kusterman and staff talked about the "absentee" board of directors who might of caught wind of possible funding and want founder and creator Paul Kustermann out of the picture.

This non-profit, social service agency located at 1901 44th Avenue North, has been the best kept secret in north Minneapolis dealing with a variety of classic issues facing the community. Paul's work includes dealing with clients that have gotten out of drug re-habilitation and prison and entered back into the community with no opportunities. CTSI has been overlooked by the City of Minneapolis in their attempt to bring CeaseFire -- Chicago to Minneapolis when Paul and CTSI have been doing this work, with experience for years.

Mr. Kustermann approached his board members including John M. Dillon, who is a Cargill executive who in two years has not donated a dime, or referred another board member and Frank Schwiegert is a Professor of Non-profit management at Metro State. Their response to Mr. Kustermann's wanting the board to step up in this trying economic time was to terminate him effective today (August 31, 2010) and told him not to return to CTSI in the morning, as I would be trespassing.

Board members declined comments but had no documentation that individuals who showed up to CTSI were in fact board members in accordance with IRS 501(c)3 rules and regulations.

IBNN NEWS and the Minneapolis Mirror will be following developing events.
