So it was you! Thanks heaps for the giggles. Whilst I enjoy noticing the influence Python has had on subsequent comedy, I am also very keen to know about the influences on Python. Please tell me when you wrote this and how it fell in their hands.
Kindest regards.

I wrote this as an original sketch. Sorry it is in no way Python.

I'm looking the Monty Python version. I am curious to know, though, if it was not orginally a Python sketch, whose was it?

It actually is not originally a Monty Python sketch.

Can anyone help me? I'm trying to find Monty Python's Bookshop sketch. I don't want a rendition of their Bookshop sketch, the Cheese Shop sketch etc. combined in this performance.
The performers obviously like Monty Python. Can they help me?
As far as I know the original bookshop sketch was from "At last the 1948 show". Marty Feldman was buying the book from John Cleese. I can't see it on Youtube.

We havent seen that either actually. I have heard of it. We did this a "joke" on our importance in history of comedy but it would be AMAZING to see an early Cleese Feldman sketch
