Just for fun, I am going to point out that, this commercial came out the same years as the movie, "The Bad News Bears go to Japan"! It was the third installment of the theatrical film and a year before the series based on the movie. How about that!

I believe so, 'Lynda'- Nathan's, as previously mentioned, bought them out several years ago, and they control the restaurants.

@Watcher3223 - I haven't seen this restaurant for more than 30 yrs. As a kid I would kill for the fish sandwiches and the fish platters! The best in the world! This restaurant chain is long gone. They used to be huge.

I appreciate your update, 'Watcher'. Yes, there are no "Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips" where I am...HOWEVER, several Nathan's Hot Dogs outlets- including at least one in my area- does offer their menu {they bought out Arthur Treacher's several years ago}.

There are Arthur Treacher's locations. Not very many, but they do exist. There are a few in Florida, though what I've found has been in Orlando, Winter Park, and in service isles of the Florida Turnpike.
