Game Playing Season 1, Episode 4:

Red Faction originally began life as a first person shooter, which was revolutionary in the fact you could destroy just about any structure. A good 7 years have passed since the previous installment, and Red Faction finally returns. Robert looks at this fun and entertaining open world game, which however does have its flaws which are disclosed by Robert in this review. The version played is the PS3 one, however its also available on the Xbox 360 and a PC version will arrive this coming August. Hopefully THQ will give us a sequel which not only addresses all the faults in Guerrilla, however also lets you use nuclear bombs and ride them like in the movie Dr. Strangelove.

  • great review! I feel the same way about RFG. I just beat the single player campaign yesterday on the PC version. The game is so much fun, I'm going to go through it again on a higher difficulty. You're right. It's far from perfect, but they did a lot of things right

  • Glad you agree with my unscripted review. Its a fun game and I can't wait to see more from the franchise.
