Let Me Play With Your Poodle - Bonnie Davis & The Piccadilly Players. Savoy Records 1946 Bonnie singing, Clem Moorman Piano, Shelly Manne Drums + 1 other. Bonnie (real name Melba Smith) & Clem were a lasting item, both had daughters from previous relationships. Bonnie's was mum of the wonderful Melba Moore ( dad was bandleader Teddy Hill). The Piccadilly Pipers took their name from a club in NJ where they played and their recording career lasted for over 10 years from the mid '40s. They had several more witty records like "I'm not Crying over you - I'm Peeling Onions." I put a foto of Melba up so those interested can see the family resemblance. Upload for fair use and educational purposes only. Bless
