Hard work takes determination, right (yes that is right). Not all folks are equally determined. Some have more of a tendency to get discouraged/bored than others. WHERE does that determination & tendency have its roots? GENETICS. You had said that hard work is not genetic, which is true hard work ITSELF isn't genetic, but I assumed you meant the will to do hard work.

  • I love George

  • Is that Jon fucking Stewart!?!?!?!?!?!

  • This man is a freaking liar...God does exist...the proof is that him,George Carlton was born and left us critical thinkers bitches with a role model and an energy source when dumb cowards try to bring us down...this man can get me up every time I'm down. God must exist..but religion is a brainwashing machine,i agree on that one...the idea is that you have to help yourself, not wait for God to do it...adapt

  • really the only famous person that is straight with people about issues like that, and at the same time uninhibitedly opinionated, while also making sense and not just being ludicrous.

everyone else seems to be either way out there, or very inhibited in some way.

  • What a guy. And he's so right about the drugs. I've seen many a talented person go under due to some drug thing or the other. Carlin makes sense....and that's why he's funny. He's the only sane one in an insane world.

  • Food for thaught? This is why newspapers are dying.

  • @xLuckyLuciano I agree with you Carlin is a very nice old person but some idea like hardwork is genetic is non sens anymore !

  • Jon Stewart is the interviewer.

  • @xLuckyLuciano I feel the same too. Maybe some sort of predisposition. But certainly not a predetermination.

And I love him too :)
