Vulgarity and provoking resentment spoil the fun. This was a great performance of one of my favorite 20th century French composers. Both symphonic and jazz are "REAL" music. Maurice Ravel saw the importance of Jazz as did other French composers. Ie. Ravel's piano concerto. Like any art, you have to acquire a taste for it, at least some of it. Milt Jackson improvizing on the vibes is as REAL a music as I ever heard.
