When the money was for their banker friends for their bonuses and trips, and not for us to see doctor, the Republicans were out there selling it.. McConnell is my senator. He represents all that is wrong with Washington DC. It's all about bitter partisan politics. He votes with the money. Based on numbers from my Congressperson, at least 93% of the many calls, emails and faxes that McConnell received were against the bailout and he arrogantly voted for the bailout and twisted a lot of arms to get others to vote for it.
I helped organize the local Ditch Mitch Rapid Response Team to campaign against him as promised.

Congressman Brad Sherman of California said that the 700 billion dollars is to buy up foreign banks useless paper - securities.
Bush, Paulson, Bernanke, Pelosi, Reid, Frank Dodd, McConnel Blunt, Hoyer and others have all been lying about this 700 billion being for Main-street. They all should be prosecuted for fraud. LIARS
